Dr. Philippe Généreux, a practicing interventional cardiologist, is the Director of the Structural Heart and Interventional Cardiology Program at the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute, Morristown Medical Center, New Jersey, USA. Dr. Généreux did his interventional cardiology training at Columbia University Medical Center and Cardiovascular Research Foundation, New York, NY, USA. Dr. Généreux has served as the primary or co-investigator on more than 20 clinical trials and has been published more than 450 times in peer-reviewed cardiology journals. In 2012, Dr Généreux received the prestigious Young Investigators Awards during the international meeting TCT. Dr. Généreux currently serves as a research consultant for the Cardiovascular Research Foundation. He is also practicing interventional cardiologist at Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montréal in Quebec. In addition, he is playing an active role in many star-up companies, including former CMO at Sig.Num, a world-leader in contactless ECG acquisition, clinical advisors at SoundBite Medical Solutions Inc., 4C Medical mitral valve, and serves as CMO at Saranas, which developed the FDA approved Early Bird bleed detection system for transcatheter endovascular interventions.
